We started on our tour of the West End Dallas sitting on the patio at 3Eleven Kitchen and Cocktails. We liked the atmosphere and the specialty drinks the most. We recommend the Seven Year Itch and the Hemingway.

We found a place to get Margaritas to go, so we walked through the West End with a cold frozen cocktail and found several places to take photos of the day.

As we walked toward the heart of the West End, we found a hole-in-the-wall place that we will be trying out the next time. There is a lot of culture and history in Dallas, and we can't pass up this tiny grill that's been here for a very long time.

We toured the historical Dallas pioneer cabin located in Founders Plaza. It was a shaded area to cool off for a while and play in the water fountains. We were interested in the history of the humble beginnings of the Dallas settlement.

We tried to access the underground entrance at the Founders Plaza, but we only were able to see the underground parking garages. We walked to the Bank of America entrance and learned it was only open on weekdays. We will be back to tour the food court in a future video.

We found more Dallas history and recommend visiting restaurants that have been there for a long time to see a bit more of Dallas culture. Although this location closed due to a roof collapse in 2022, do you remember dining in the old trolley car inside of Spaghetti Warehouse?
Location: 1815 N Market St, Dallas, TX 75202
We found the old historical Butcher Shop Steakhouse in the West End. Sadly it's reported to be permanently closed, but may have been bought by Rj's. The iconic trademark name still remains on the old red brick visible while walking through Dallas West End streets.

We found another cool place for a dinner date. At Shivas a patron took some photos of us with the Pirate statue outside at the entrance. This restaurant menu looks promising and we will be back here soon. Glad we found this place while touring the West End streets!

We ended the tour with a dinner date at Patrick Kennedy's Irish Pub. This was a great ending of the day because we found a number of delicious foods to eat, and we talked with the manager about the history of the bar and the origins. All in all was a good day! We recommend giving them a try.
Location: 1201 Main St #100, Dallas, TX 75202
